While many driving skills require a blend of both mental and physical skill sets, the first two CORE skills (CORE Skill 1 – Reducing the Sensation of Speed and CORE Skill – 2 – Increasing Sensitivity (to energy flow, loads, traction, and forces)) are primarily mental skills; with CORE Skill 1 being an almost entirely mental skill related to efficiently process incoming sensory information, and CORE Skill 2 being a largely mental skill related to efficiently prioritizing, monitoring, and interpreting non-visual sensory information… with the objective of effectively managing the corresponding forces acting on and through the car.
